Public transport

When you use public transport please do not forget to have a valid ticket or a pass. The Hungarian ticket controllers are famous of not speaking any foreign languages and this can cause some serious problems. A lengthy but very detailed and useful information can be found here. The correct prices are: single ticket 300 HUF, single ticket purchased on the bus 400 HUF (this option is not available on all buses), 10 pieces discount coupon booklet 2,700 HUF, one-day travel card 1,550 HUF, three-day travel card 3,850 HUF and a seven-day travel card 4,600 HUF.

Taxi

City Taxi is a reliable taxi company with English speaking operators. It can be reached on +36-1-2111-111.

At the Airport there is only one taxi company, Zóna Taxi with a fixed rate takes you to the city centre. (22 and 24 Euros)

Accommodation

We suggest a list of hotels to choose from, close to the conference location. We also help organizing hostels and apartments for the budget travelers. In addition, read our general advices if you are looking for a place to stay.
